Making pickled vegetables at home requires little effort, but they add an instant boost of flavor to any dish. I recommend adding them to salads, tacos, or serving them as a side with your favorite meat!

- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- 1 medium red onion
*For pickled cabbage use the same liquid measurements and slice 1/4 head of the cabbage into thin strands.
- Slice of the ends of the onion. Using your spiralizer, create long thing strands.
- In a mason jar, whisk together apple cider vinegar, salt and honey.
- Add in the spiralized onion and let sit at room temperature for at least 4 hours before serving, or refrigerate overnight.
