Breakfast has always been my favorite meal of the day. While poached eggs may seem intimidating, they are actually easy to make. After some practice you will be a pro.
Prep Time: 2 minutes Cook Time: 6 minutes
- 2 tablespoons of vinegar (you can use any type of vinegar)
- 3 cups of water
- In a medium pan, bring water and vinegar to just under a boil.
- Once the water is steaming with light bubbles, crack the egg and let cook for 2 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, flip the egg and cook for another 2 minutes (if you prefer your yolk less runny do 3 minutes each side)
- Using the slotted spoon, drain the water and plate over your choice of veggies or avocado toast.
